Father’s Day at New Forest Crematorium
Westerleigh Group’s New Forest Crematorium is inviting families to visit and commemorate the lives of their fathers and father figures.
It is opening the doors of its modern, newly-built chapel between 10am and 12noon on Sunday 19 June for a special Father’s Day Moment of Reflection.
New Forest Crematorium is part of Westerleigh Group, the UK’s largest owner and operator of crematoria and cemeteries, with 37 sites in England, Scotland, and Wales, all set within beautifully landscaped gardens of remembrance which provide pleasant, tranquil places for people to visit and reflect.
It opened just a few weeks ago and is one of the UK’s most environmentally-friendly crematoriums, using advanced technology to minimise emissions while being designed to protect the precious wildlife habitats and nature of the surrounding New Forest National Park.
Site Manager Graeme Horobin said: “Father’s Day can be a particularly poignant time for those who have lost their father or father figure.
“We look forward to welcoming families to our new chapel, most of whom will be seeing it for the very first time.
“We hope that families will find comfort in their visit to us.”
